Who We Are
Donkey Rights Group, is an animal welfare group that was formed with a sole aim of addressing the plight of donkeys in Kenya and other parts of the world. According to recent statistics by the Nation Media Group, Kenya is the leading donkey smuggling hub in East Africa. This group seeks to recognize the significant contribution made by the donkeys in improving the rural economies and to lobby against their mistreatment by human beings.
We are fully licensed and registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board. We are committed to ensuring that donkeys don’t become extinct in Kenya and around the globe.
